A nicely renovated, quiet apartment in a classic building near the Buda Castle in a safe, central residential area with great traffic connections, Apartment Mia is the perfect place for friends or family.
Our 840 square feet (78 square metre), cozy apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, plus a double sofa bed in the lounge, 1.5 bathrooms (1 with shower and toilet, 1 with tub and sink) and separate dining hall and kitchen.
Six adults can sleep comfortably in the flat, plus we have a folding bed suitable for children/teenagers and a cot for babies. Our apartment offers all modern conveniences: sat TV, DVD player with surround sound, washing machine, dishwasher, free wireless internet etc. Sunny balcony overlooking a hidden inner garden, the best place to relax after a long day in the city.
Apartment Mia is your home away from home: just kick off your shoes, put on your free terrycloth slippers and relax! Our guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of good Hungarian wine, and tea and Italian espresso coffee are free during your stay.
Our self-catering holiday apartment is close to nice little shops, excellent restaurants, playgrounds, parks, an English-language multiplex cinema, a new swimming pool and spa, and several nature reserves. Bus No. 105 takes you downtown in 8 minutes. Free parking zone is 600 metres away. Deli Railway station is also close, very handy for trips to Lake Balaton or Vienna.
Apartment Mia is on the third floor of a classic 1920’s building (no elevator), the high ceilings and tall windows keeping it cool and light in the summer. The apartment has double glazing and its own central heating, making sure there is always plenty of hot water and the rooms are just as warm as you want it. Our holiday flat is nonsmoking, child friendly and family friendly. Kids under 14 stay free. We can supply a baby cot, high chair and other baby items (upon request). There also toys and games in the apartment, and several tall bookshelves full of English books. We can also arrange for an English-speaking babysitter to supervise your kids. As we have children ourselves, we are always ready to provide expert and up-to-date advice on Budapest with (or without) kids.
We try to make our apartment eco-friendly, thus it purposefully lacks an air conditioner. Instead, high ceilings provide cool in summer, while double glazing keeps the warmth inside during wintertime. The apartment uses energy saving light sources and we also encourage our guests to conserve water and energy, and to recycle. There are several organic food stores in the area, as well as Budapest’s biggest organic market every Saturday at Csörsz utca.
